Online Childrens Stories
Children can practice reading through many types of literacy, such as pattern books, a rhymes. When reading stories it is important to point out the purpose. When students come to school and read morning message they have a purpose - so they know what to expect that day. When reading books at home your purpose could be for entertainment!
Another great way to introduce reading is to have use audio books. Have children follow again while the story is being read. Then try reading sentences yourself.
