Seasonal Changes

How do your activities change throughout the seasons? Do you dress in a snowsuit to go to the beach, or wear a bathing suit to build a snowman?

What do we do different when the seasons change?

A great way to incorporate reading when talking about seasons is with books like: 50 below Zero and Thomas's Snowsuit by Robert Munsch! Start students off by talking about the books, why is it important for Thomas to put on his snow suit?  Look at ways students can connect to the books!

When looking at seasonal changes with students let ART help you! Take a light piece of white paper and a black crayon. Do outside and do a rub of the tree and leaves throughout the year! Its a great way to visually see the changes.
